Mako 216

I only did the topside on this boat. I cleaned, buffed, and waxed the topside. The boat had accumulated dirt and mildew, especially in the compartments.

Sinks often get dirty and the hose, which extends below the sink often accumulates mildew. I clean the sink, polish the nozzle, and remove mildew from the hose, above and below the sink.

Hatches below the deck always accumulate debris. Often boater store their water bottles in them and their packing often leaves a blue stain on the hatch floor.

Hatches at the stern of boats and bilges always show mildew as well as dirt. I remove all milder inside the hatch and anything inside, such as hoses, as shown below, and pumps and wiring.

There is no question that bilges are the most neglected compartments on a boat. Often they are large and always have mildew and dirt buildup. All hoses have mildew on them as well as the walls. I remover all mildew from bilges.

Another neglected compartment, especially on small boats, is the center below the center console. They are often small and build up mildew on the hoses, wiring, and walls as well as leaves. Again, I remover all debris and remove all mildew.
