This boat was in storage for 6 months. The fish tanks were not cleaned before putting the boat in storage and the seat covers trapped moisture and caused the cushions to become mildewed. It needed some other detailing as well.

Hatch lids and tracks always accumulate dirt, leaves, algae, and mildew. Sometimes the boat is on a trailer and lists tot he opposite side of the drain ,so water accumulates. That is where algae is often found.

Often hatch tracks show little dots of rust. I don’t know where they come from but I remover the rust dots.

Rust is everywhere on boats! Even though the bright work is stainless steel, often it is not the highest quality. So rust can build up on anythings stainless.
